Candle Magic
Candle magic is one of the simplest forms of spell casting in which the caster decides on a goal, visualises the end result and focuses intent or will to manifest that result.

Colour is a big part of choosing your candle for your spell. Depending on your intention will dictate which colour will be best suited. Here are some of the primary areas covered by popular colours. But if all else fails - a white candle can be used for anything.
How to prepare your candle.
As with any magic, there is no wrong answer. Trust yourself and do what feels right to you. Some ways you can prepare your candle are:
Anoint your candle with oils.
Carve your candle with name, sigils and words.
Meditate with your candle
Surround your candle with appropriate crystals and herbs.
Colours
Orange: kindness, encouragement, attraction Purple: spiritual strength, power, health
Pink: love, happiness, unity, romance, honour Silver: protection, inspiration, vision
Red: passion, love, courage, strength, health Black: pure love, wisdom, strength
White: purity, serenity, peace, truth, devotion Blue: fidelity, longevity, strength
Yellow: harmony, balance, confidence. Brown: Nurturing, home, healing
Gold: wisdom, prosperity, longevity Grey: balance, neutrality
Green: fertility, growth, luck Copper: passion, money, professions
Casting your spell.
Depending on your intention will depend on what is the best time to cast your spell. As a rule of thumb, New Moons are great for setting intentions or manifesting something, whereas Full Moons are a time of release and letting things go.
Meditate and create a safe space for your ritual. Light your candle with your intention in your mind.
Leave the crystal and herb pouch in the candlelight letting it absorb the energy of the fire and moonlight.
Keep your intention in your mind and write it on a piece of paper in the candlelight.
After an hour, once the candle has burned, collect your crystal, herb pouch and written intention and put them in the organza bag. You can carry this with you or leave it in a safe space. With the spell done, let the magic work and bring your intention to life.
