April Full Moon

Spring is in full swing as we have had the Spring Equinox (unfortunately, that means -1 hour sleep - but more sunlight is worth it!) The name for this full moon is the Pink Moon, I wish it was a beautiful hue of pink across it but as usual, it is connected to nature. 

Let's meet Creeping Phlox.

A wildflower thats native to the Appalachian Mountains which is a beautiful sign of spring. Due to this taking over the landscape, we get the name, Pink Moon.

This is also an important date in Christianity and determines the date of Easter. So if you ever get confused as to why the dates of Easter always move - you can blame the moon! 🌸🌸🌸
